Summer: A time to catch up before BackToSchool Season starts

EIE Summer

As recently mentioned on the weekly Brunch Education Talk TV programme: 'Summer is the worst time to go to sleep'. It’s important to make sure that you stimulate your child's mind; you will lose one whole academic year if you do nothing over the Summer. So occupy your children with fun activities, visit museums and amusement parks, get them onto educational websites. This way you can help them keep their arithmetic skills fresh or get them to do some writing on the trips they've been on. All of these are simple things to keep their mind ticking over the Summer period and keeping them ahead of the game so that they can start the new term on a high.

Also make sure you bring them along to summer schools like the EIE Summer Sessions being run in Clapton. Intensive courses like this will leave them high powered, ready and raring to go for a successful school year.

In this second half of the year, we will be taking more advantage of the Social Media and new technology available at the moment. Look out for more Webinars like the ones of the recent weeks with Dr Chris, and make sure you follow us on Twitter, join our Facebook group, subscribe to our Blog and watch our YouTube channel. There will be many additions to these in the months to come!
